What is TASTE?

TASTE is not just an art event. It’s a cultural indulgence where you will find paintings, sculptors, local eats, live music, performance acts, break dancing, fire spinning, freak shows and everything in between. TASTE is the largest art event of its kind in Savannah, Georgia.

Meddin Emerging Artist Theatre (M.E.A.T.) held the first TASTE art event in 2009. TASTE was created to bring together artists and performers, with a diverse range in visual technique and culture. The event brought over 1,300 people. It featured over 45 regional artists, well over 150 pieces of art, and more than a dozen live art and music performances.
